Pedro Bianchi Prata continues to shine at the bp Ultimate Rally-Raid Portugal, an event organised by the Automobile Club of Portugal (ACP) and counting towards the second round of the World Rally-Raid Championship. At the controls of a STRiX — an electric motorbike from a new-generation European manufacturer — the Portuguese rider is maintaining a consistent performance, having already successfully completed all the stages contested so far in this demanding competition.

Focused on the development of the electric STRiX, Pedro Bianchi Prata remains satisfied with the work done, currently occupying 35th place in the overall standings in a race that brings together the world’s elite in Rally Raid.

At the end of the third stage, which was marked by particularly challenging conditions, the rider highlighted the main challenges of the day:

“The Rally Raid has been an excellent competition. We’ve had long, but beautiful and very varied stages. Today, because of the rain that fell at the end of the day, the ground became very slippery and dangerous. The rivers also rose, and I saw many riders with their bikes submerged. My participation so far has gone well. The aim isn’t the result, but rather to test the bike, clock up the miles and understand where we can improve, because our focus is on having the best possible bike for the 2027 Dakar. Today we achieved a feat: with just one battery change, we broke the 100 km barrier. We covered 104 km, which left me very satisfied. As always, the ACP is doing an exceptional job organising this event. We’ll continue to complete every stage right to the end and give it our all.”
