Pedro Bianchi Prata makes history in the desert: 9th place overall and first 100% electric motorcycle to complete the ADDAX Rally

The ADDAX Rally 2025 ended last Friday and will go down in the history of world motorsport.
Pedro Bianchi Prata became the first rider in the world to complete 100% of a desert rally on a fully electric motorcycle, also achieving a remarkable 9th place in the overall classification.
During five days of competition, Bianchi Prata faced more than 1,600 km of special stages, on one of the toughest, longest, and most technical courses he has ever encountered in his entire career. The demanding navigation, difficult terrain, and long hours of racing—more than 38 hours on the motorcycle—made this edition a true test of endurance.
The “100% Electric Motorcycle – Powered by MOEVE” project proved, stage after stage, that electric performance is capable of withstanding extreme conditions.
39 battery changes were carried out, some in remote desert areas, coordinated by a support team that traveled more than 1,200 km off-road to ensure that nothing went wrong.
Dunes, dry rivers, rocky paths, sandstorms, and stage finishes after sunset marked an epic participation, completed within the Top 10 overall—a historic result for a project that is still taking its first steps in international rally raids.
“The goal was more than achieved. Finishing was the dream, finishing in the Top 10 is extraordinary. We showed the world that this future has a future”, said Pedro Bianchi Prata at the end of the race.
The driver also highlighted the fundamental role played by the team that accompanied him daily in the field, as well as the support of his family:
“The adventure was mine, but the effort was everyone's. And the hardest part... was being away from my son Vicente and Maria for so many days.”
With this historic result, the Powered by MOEVE electric project opens a new chapter in international rally raids, showing that innovation can go as far as courage—and energy—will allow.
