Pedro Bianchi Prata premieres today the first episode of the documentary series “Road to Dakar”, which follows the development of his 100% electric motorcycle towards the Dakar 2027.
Episode 1, titled “Rally Raid Portugal 2026”, documents the debut of the STRiX motorcycle in international competition, at the Rally Raid Portugal 2026.

The episode
The episode follows the rider and the team throughout Rally Raid Portugal 2026, showing the day-to-day reality of a rally raid race.
It covers:
– Paddock preparation and race logistics
– Competition stages and energy management
– Assistance points and battery swaps
– Strategic decisions during the race
– Technical challenges faced in real conditions
The event takes place over several days, across different terrains and conditions, providing a demanding real-world testing environment.

Project context
After competing in similar events in 2025, where the viability of an electric motorcycle in rally raid was demonstrated, the project enters 2026 in a continuous development phase in real competition.
The objective is to improve reliability, range and performance, using each race as a real testing platform.
The development is carried out in collaboration with STRiX eMotors and EDMTECH, responsible for the battery system.
