This weekend's third round of the Todo national championship took place in Góis, marked by rain and fog on the first day and good weather on the second, but always with a lot of fog in the higher mountains. This year's Raide de Gois was marked by a tribute to our dear friend and organizer José Alvoeiro.

Divided into two days and with three stages, a prologue of 4.8 km, one of 76 km and the other of 240 km, there were over 300 timed kilometers and over 5 hours of riding.

The Honda team stood out, with Gustavo Gaudêncio taking the top spot in the TT1 class, leaving the second-placed rider more than 3 minutes behind. The Ulme rider set a great pace from the start of the race and won two of the three stages.

"Raid TT José Alvoeiro 3rd race of the CNTT, I love the people in the organization but for me it's always been a race I've never liked, however, this year's result was good, we did a race from less to more and finished with a good P1 TT1 and a P4 overall. Thank you team, staff and teammates."

Also in the TT1 class, Kayaktours rider David Xavier showed a good moment of form and that he is more adapted to his CRF250RX, taking fifth place in TT1.

"Race 3 of the National Championship in Góis was positive for me, a very demanding race at various levels, both physically and psychologically, but I managed to get the Honda to the finish without any falls. Thanks to the whole team, it would have been difficult without them."

In the TT2 and Veterans classes, ACL rider João Miranda on a CRF450RX was sixth in the Vet.

"3rd National Championship race in Góis, a very demanding race on many levels, but I managed to overcome all the difficulties and get the Honda to the finish without any falls. Thanks to the whole team, always impeccable."

In the TT3 class the team was represented by João Duarte, on a Honda CRF490RX, the young rider was 2nd in the TT3 and 2nd in the Juniors.

"Another race is over, this time in Góis. It was very demanding due to the weather conditions. Otherwise it was a productive weekend, 2nd TT3 and 2nd Junior. I'd like to thank the whole team for the fantastic job they did during the race. See you at the Ferrarias RAID."

In the veterans, Christophe Lajouanie rode a spectacular race, taking victory in the last few kilometers of the race.

"Goís is always a technical and very tough race, and this year was no exception with over 240km on Sunday!

My day on Saturday wasn't very good, with some difficulty in finding my rhythm. It left me with a 1min deficit compared to my opponent in the Veterans Class. On Sunday, I went into the race “with a knife in my teeth” to try and reduce the gap. That's exactly what we did, ending up winning the Veterans class with a 27sec lead! I'd like to thank the Bianchi Prata team for preparing my top HONDA CRF 450R for me, and for providing excellent service! Thank you!"

In the TT2 class, Tomás Dias, recovering from injuries sustained in a fall in Castelo Branco, rode a risk-free race and won among the Juniors.

"It was a very tough and difficult race for me! I came back from a big crash and it was hard to gain confidence and attack the obstacles! But it was another training session and we brought home some points! Thanks to all the staff for their support! Together we are stronger!"

Also riding Honda bikes, the team included Arcelio Couto on a Honda CRF450RX, forced to give up when he was third in the TT3, João Pires on a Honda CRF250RX 5th in the veterans and Mariuxe Taranto on a Honda CRF250RX who gave up due to a fall.

"This weekend I took part in the RAID GÓIS - JOSÉ ALVOEIRO, a race in the National Cross-Country Championship, where I once again felt the competitive atmosphere and the passion for racing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the race due to a problem with my bike's rear wheel during Sunday's course, when I was in 3rd place in the TT3 class and with a good pace. Saturday also brought its challenges, namely with my glasses breaking in the first part of the course, which made navigation and riding very difficult. Despite the setbacks, it's always a pleasure to return to the CNTT and feel the heat of the competition and the spirit of national off-road racing. I'd like to give a special thanks to the Bianchi Prata team for their support and professionalism throughout the weekend. I'm already looking forward to getting back on the attack next time."

Honda CRF250RX - João Pires

"Another race in Góis, it's already the fourth race I've done and this was the one I enjoyed the most apart from the fog problem it went better than I expected with no crashes I loved the course I achieved my goal of finishing the race. The bike was top notch and the assistance as always 5 stars. I'd like to thank the staff at bianchi prata who helped with the assistance and preparation of the bike. And to my teammates for everything. May the next race come".

Daniela Mateus - 2nd in the Ladies

"Third race of the championship and I'm already feeling more confident. I've changed bikes but I've adapted quite well, I managed to finish and keep the lead in the championship, which is always the aim. It was difficult and tiring, but I enjoyed the race and I'm ready for the next one.

A big thank you to the Bianchi Prata staff and team, without whom none of this would have been possible!"

Nuno Mateus - 12th Vet

"Another challenge successfully completed, in a very tough, very technical, physically and psychologically demanding race that puts us to the test in the most diverse situations, forcing us to maintain maximum concentration from the beginning to the end of the race, because every mistake can be very costly. I'm very pleased to have been able to complete this race in the company of my daughter Daniela and I'd like to thank the Bianchi Prata team for their exemplary support, which enabled us to achieve this goal."

Diogo Leitão - Honda CRF450RX

"Another race finished with no falls, I've never done this race before and I found it very demanding but I really enjoyed it.
