✔️ Fight to the end for overall victory with Tomás Dias

The Bianchi Prata Honda Team once again demonstrated its strength in the Baja TT Reguengos / Monsaraz 2025, one of the most iconic races on the national calendar, contested over three intense days.
On Friday, the action began with a six-kilometer prologue, where Tomás Dias immediately showed he was in contention for victory, finishing in 2nd place overall, just a few seconds behind the leader.
On Saturday, two special stages of 90 kilometers each were contested, both very fast and demanding. Tomás won the first special stage by a narrow margin, reinforcing his ambition to fight for overall victory. In the second special stage, he lost a few seconds, finishing the day in 2nd place overall, just 51 seconds behind the leader.
Sunday brought the decisive 116-kilometer special stage, where everything was up for grabs until the last kilometer. Determined and riding at a very fast pace, Tomás made up time on his direct opponent, but in the end, victory slipped away by just 29 seconds. A minimal difference that confirms not only the young rider's talent but also the enormous work of the entire team.
It was a race contested at the highest level, with excitement until the end, and where the Bianchi Prata Team showed once again that it is at the forefront of national motorcycling, winning victories in several classes and putting all its riders in the spotlight.

Tomás Dias
2nd overall
1st Junior
1st TT2
“I gave it my all. I was playing at home and really felt the support of the crowd and my family. It was a shame we didn't win, but thanks to the team. We'll keep working, because victory will come.”

João Duarte
5th Overall
2nd Junior
3rd TT3
“It was a tough race, with a lot of dust and very dry ground, but I managed to set a good pace and had fun. I was very close to second place, but that's how races are. I'm going to keep working, because now Portalegre is coming up and I'm very motivated to get a good result.”

Gustavo Gaudêncio
7th overall
1st TT1
“It was a tough, hard-fought race. I'm still hampered by the injury I sustained at Baja da Ferraria and wasn't able to race at my usual pace, but I'm happy to have won and to have taken another step towards the championship lead.”

Christophe Lajouanie
13th Overall
6th TT2
2nd Veterans
“I'm still not back to my usual pace after the crash that broke my arm in Ferraria. I pushed hard and feel I can still go faster, but I didn't take any risks. The bike was great and I finished 2nd. It's going to be tough to defend my title, but I'll never give up. There are still two races to go and I'll fight for it.”

João Miranda
16th overall
7th TT2
4th Veterans
“Everything went well, the bike was very good. Thanks to the team for their excellent work. I rode fast and I'm happy with 4th place in the veterans category.”

Renato Mendes
17th overall
4th TT1
5th Veterans
“It was a very intense battle with my teammates. I am very happy with this 5th place. The bike performed well. Thanks to the team, and now the next race, Portalegre, is the one I like the most. I am very motivated.”

Rui Panda
26th overall
3rd European Championship
“I am very happy to be back racing. I was out for a long time with the injury I had at the beginning of the season. This 3rd place in the European Championship feels really good. This year I am competing at the age of 60 and I am one of the oldest drivers in the National Championship. Finishing a tough and demanding race like this makes me very happy.”

Nuno Mateus
27th overall
12th TT2
11th Veterans
“This race is always tough for me, very fast, but it went well and I'm happy to have finished.”

Daniela Mateus
29th overall
1st Women
4th Junior
“I'm very happy to have finished. This race is very fast and I'm not used to this type of event, but it went well. I brought a new bike that performed very well. I won again in the Women's category and extended my lead in the championship.”

João Pires
30th overall
9th TT1
13th Veterans
“The first day didn't go well, I had some bad luck with a rock that broke the bike's chain. I managed to fix it and finish, but I couldn't make up the lost time. Today I pushed as hard as I could, but the lost time weighed heavily. It was a tough race, but I'm happy to have finished. Thanks to the team.”

Januário Barrocas
32nd overall
13th TT2
15th Veterans
“This is one of my favorite races of the year. I am very happy to have finished and I thank the team and my sponsors for their help.”

Mariucci Taranto
2nd Women's
4th European Championship
“It was a tough race, but fortunately everything went well. The bike was flawless throughout and I am very happy with this 4th place in the European Championship and 2nd place in the Women's. Thank you to the whole team.”

Team Manager Statements – Pedro Bianchi Prata
“The whole weekend went well and everything was in place for it to be a success, from the preparation of the bikes, all the staff, and all the work we did to prepare for this race. I am very happy with the result, we were always in the fight for victories in all classes and we almost won the overall with Tomás Dias.
Gustavo was at the highest level and winning the 250 is a great achievement. João Duarte, another of our official riders, also did very well. Yesterday he achieved an excellent 3rd place overall, today the track was not so favorable for his 500 bike, which performs better on faster terrain, but even so he had a great race.
All the riders stood out, the bikes performed flawlessly, and we achieved something very important: out of 12 riders at the start, we had 12 riders at the finish, which is a source of pride.
Thank you to all the staff, everyone who works on this team, and the sponsors who believe in this project. The next race will be the World Rally Raid Championship in Portugal, where I will be competing with our electric motorcycle. In the National Championship, the next big challenge will be the legendary Baja Portalegre, where our goal is clear: to fight for victory.
Thank you all, and let's keep working to achieve more victories."
