Pedro Bianchi Prata in TOP15 overall at Baja da Extremadura with 100% electric bike powered by MOEVE
Jorge Brandão wins on his debut with a Honda

The rain didn't let up. The mud stuck to the tires, to the riders' eyes and to the memory of all those who dared to face the demanding Baja da Extremadura, a Baja World Championship event that took place between Elvas and Badajoz.
There were two intense days, three timed special stages and more than 11 hours of pure overcoming. At the center of this storm, Team Bianchi Prata Honda - Marco de Canaveses - shone with determination, innovation and memorable achievements.

Pedro Bianchi Prata, the undisputed name in Portuguese off-road racing, has written another remarkable chapter in his career, once again at the helm of a 100% electric motorcycle, developed as part of the MOEVE project. On board this silent but powerful machine, the rider reached the TOP 15 overall and finished the first day in a remarkable 11th place. It was a daring but triumphant participation, in a field where few would have believed an electric bike could make it.

“It was a very tough race,” Pedro confessed at the end, his body exhausted but his voice firm. “Many kilometers, very cold, and navigation was decisive. Changing the batteries was a logistical challenge, but our team was faultless, we managed to change batteries in record time, even in remote areas. This project is unique in the world, and to be competing alongside the best with an electric bike is a huge step for the future of our sport.”

While Bianchi Prata was exploring the future, another name from the team was writing his own debut story: Jorge Brandão, a rider in the Veterans category, completely dominated, winning all the specials with his Honda CRF450RX , a perfect debut with the new machine.
“I couldn't have asked for a better adaptation,” said the Arouca rider. “The bike was impeccable and the team was incredible. It's a victory that gives me even more motivation for what's to come.”

With rain, mud and a breathtaking technical test, the MOEVE team showed that they are ready for any challenge, whether leading the way with electric innovation or winning with strength, experience and passion for two wheels. |

The next stop is in July, at the legendary Baja de Aragón. And if this race was a sign of things to come, the world should get ready: the roar of the future can already be heard, even if it doesn't come with a combustion engine.
