The Baja Aragón 2025, one of the most emblematic and demanding events in the FIM Bajas World Championship, has come to an end after three days of intense competition, extreme heat and challenging trails.
There were more than 470 km of timed special stages, divided into three days:
✅ Friday: 6.7 km prologue, decisive for the starting order
✅ Saturday: Two stages (199 km + 133 km)
✅ Sunday: Last special (133 km)
The dry surface and the passage of the different categories - cars, trucks, SSVs, Moto4 and motorcycles - left the terrain increasingly degraded, turning each kilometer into a real test of physical, technical and mechanical endurance.
Despite the difficulties, the six riders from Team Bianchi Prata HONDA - Marco de Canaveses reached the end of the race with an outstanding victory in the Veteranos FIM category, achieved by Jorge Brandão, and consistent results in the general classifications.
📊 Final Standings - Team Bianchi Prata HONDA
🏁 #17 Norbert Zsigovits - 7th Overall FIM 450
🏁 #8 Jorge Brandão - 9th Overall FIM 450 | 1st Veterans 🏆
🏁 #33 Nuno Silva - 17th Overall | 6th Veterans
🏁 #14 Richard Hodola - 23rd Overall
🏁 #15 Frédéric Fontarosa - 27th Overall | 12th Veterans
🏁 #38 Mariuxi Taranto - 32nd Overall | 5th Ladies

Jorge Brandão (#8):
"This victory has a special flavor. A few years ago, I suffered a serious injury here that almost ended my career. Today, to come back and win in the Veterans is a huge personal achievement and a source of pride for me and the team."

Frédéric Fontarosa (#15):
"This Baja is brutal! It was one of the most demanding races I've ever done, but I loved the course and I'm very happy to finish. A big thank you to the team for their incredible support."

Mariuxi Taranto (#38):
"I never thought I would finish the Baja Aragón, it's a very tough race. I suffered, I fell, but I stayed focused. To come fifth among the ladies is a great source of pride. I have clear goals for the future and this experience only gives me more strength."

Nuno Silva (#33):
"I felt better and better throughout the race. It was a shame about the 10-minute penalty for entering the paddock early, which caused me to lose important positions. But I leave here satisfied and motivated to keep going."

Richard Hodola (#14):
"It was a tough race, with a lot of dust, but I got to the end and that's the most important thing. I learned a lot and took away a great experience from this Baja."

Norbert Zsigovits (#17):
"It was my first Baja and a completely different experience. I'm used to Enduro and Super Enduro races, I'm Hungarian champion, but here everything changes: the race management, the navigation, the heat. It was tough, but I loved it and I want to come back!"

The Role of the Staff
This weekend was equally demanding for the entire Team Bianchi Prata HONDA - Marco de Canaveses structure. Complex logistics, long specials and fast-paced assistance meant that there was no downtime for the technical team.
Mechanics, assistants and coordination worked tirelessly to ensure that each bike was ready to face the extreme challenges of the race.

Words from the Team Manager
At the end of the race, Team Manager Pedro Bianchi Prata gave an emotional and honest assessment of the weekend:
"This Baja Aragón 2025 was undoubtedly one of the toughest editions we've faced, both because of the extreme conditions and the demanding nature of the route. Seeing all six of our riders cross the finish line, with Jorge Brandão's victory in the Veterans category standing out, is a source of great pride. Each of them did their best and overcame physical, technical and emotional challenges.
The technical team was also at an exceptional level! They were intense days, with a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure that all the bikes were always operational and safe. The atmosphere within the structure was one of unity, focus and resilience.
This race showed once again that we are a cohesive, passionate and determined team. We left Aragón even stronger, with new lessons to learn and with the certainty that we are on the right track. Thank you to all the riders, staff and supporters who make all this possible."
Baja Aragón 2025 reinforces the presence of Team Bianchi Prata HONDA - Marco de Canaveses at the top of international competitions and marks another chapter of overcoming and professionalism in the team's history.
